Licensed Alcohol Rehab

Alcohol Rehabilitation Process

Because alcohol is a psychoactive substance, it can be easy to become addicted to adult spirits. This addiction is called alcoholism and has an intense impact on an individual’s central nervous system. No matter how much people attempt to minimize the reality of alcoholism, we at Mountainside Recovery Center understand the traumatic and devastating consequences of short- and long-term alcohol abuse, and we are here to help our clients in their journey to a sustainable recovery.

Admissions Assessment at Mountainside

The medical admissions assessment includes medical history, mental health background, drug and alcohol use, and outside support systems. This is what we use to design a treatment program for each client’s specific needs.

Detoxification

Our clients who come to us for alcohol addiction will first undergo a detoxification in order to completely remove all harmful and addictive substances form their body that has accumulated due to continued use of the substance. They will be monitored 24/7 by our detox team in order to ensure a safe and comfortable detox.

Individual Counseling

There must be internal healing and growth to remain alcohol-free. We work at changing the way our clients think, drawing out their hidden issues and having them face them head-on to stimulate healing, leading to recovery.

Group Counseling

Overseen by certified professionals, group counseling sessions are a safe platform for our patients to not only interact, but also to see that they are not alone in this fight.

Dual-Diagnosis

Individuals with addictions often have additional mental health issues as well. It is important for us to identify any mental health areas of concern and treat them along with the addiction its self. We are staffed with psychologists and psychiatrists who have experience in helping clients overcome both aspects of their dual diagnosis.

Treatment is different for everyone, and there are no quick fixes. It is important that you understand that you will need to be in this for the long haul. The good thing about walking through this process with Mountainside Recovery Center is that you will be walking through this with caring individuals who honestly want the best for you.
